1. No Account = No Personal Information Collection
Nette does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (e.g., name, email address, phone number, or Apple ID) to use the App. We do not collect, store, or process any personal identifiers from you—this means we never have access to information that could be used to identify you individually.
2. Local Processing: Your Videos Never Leave Your Device
The App uses 100% local processing for all video-related activities. This is a core privacy feature, and it means:
Your original videos (imported from your iPhone’s photo library) are never uploaded to the cloud, our servers, or any third-party services;
All watermark edits (text input, positioning, size/rotation adjustments) are processed directly on your iPhone;
We do not store copies of your original videos, watermarked videos, or any watermark text (e.g., logos, copyright notices) on our servers;
When you export a watermarked video, it is saved directly to your iPhone’s photo library—we do not retain or access the exported file.
This local-only approach eliminates the risk of data leaks, third-party access, or unauthorized sharing of your video content. All processing relies on your device's internal capabilities, ensuring complete control over your media at all times.
3. Information We May Collect (Non-Personal, Device-Level Data)
To improve the App’s performance and user experience, we may collect limited, non-personal, device-level data. This data cannot be used to identify you and is collected only in aggregate form. Examples include:
iPhone model and iOS version (e.g., "iPhone 15, iOS 17.1")—to ensure the App is compatible with your device and fix model-specific bugs;
App usage metrics (e.g., "number of videos processed per user session," "most-used watermark tools")—to prioritize feature updates and improve usability;
Crash reports (if the App malfunctions)—to identify and fix technical issues. These reports do not include any video content or personal information.
All collected non-personal data is anonymized and used solely for App improvement. We do not share this data with third parties for marketing or other commercial purposes. You can disable crash reporting through your device settings at any time.
4. N Coins & In-App Purchases: Privacy of Transaction Data
If you choose to purchase N Coins (the App’s virtual currency for video exports), all transaction processing is handled by Apple’s App Store. This means:
We do not collect, store, or process any payment information (e.g., credit card details, Apple Pay credentials);
All purchase records are managed by Apple, and we only receive confirmation of successful transactions (e.g., "X N Coins added to user’s balance") without any personal or financial details;
Your N Coins balance is stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, your balance may be lost unless you have enabled iCloud backup (managed entirely by Apple’s ecosystem).
5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
Nette minimizes reliance on third-party services to protect your privacy. The only third-party interaction occurs through:
Apple App Store: For App distribution, in-App purchases, and update delivery. Apple’s privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy;
FFmpeg: An open-source video processing library used locally on your device to ensure high-quality exports. FFmpeg operates entirely within the App and does not collect or transmit any data;
Crash reporting tools (if enabled): These services are configured to collect only anonymized, non-personal data related to App performance, with no access to your videos or personal information.
We do not sell, rent, or share any collected data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Data Retention & Control
Since all video processing is local, you have full control over your data:
Original videos remain in your iPhone’s photo library, subject to your device’s storage settings;
Watermarked videos are saved directly to your photo library—you can delete them at any time through your device’s gallery;
Non-personal usage data is retained only as long as necessary to improve the App, with automatic purging of outdated information;
Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored App data (including N Coins balance, unless backed up via iCloud).
7. Children’s Privacy
Nette is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children, and our local processing model ensures that even if children use the App, their video content remains on their device and is not accessible to us or third parties.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or privacy practices. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through in-App notifications or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
