This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Nette mobile application ("App"), developed for iPhone devices. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by all terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
1. App Overview & Core Functionality
Nette is a video watermarking tool designed to help iPhone users add professional text watermarks (e.g., logos, copyright notices, taglines) to their videos. Key features include:
100% local video processing (no cloud uploads or third-party data access);
Real-time preview of watermark changes before saving;
High-quality video export powered by FFmpeg (industry-standard video processing technology);
No account registration or login required to use basic App features.
2. Your Rights & Responsibilities
When using Nette, you are entitled to the following rights, and agree to uphold the corresponding responsibilities:
Rights: Access to all core App features (local processing, watermark customization, preview) without account creation; retention of full ownership of your original videos and watermarked content; ability to export watermarked videos to your iPhone’s photo library (subject to N Coins requirements, as outlined in Section 3).
Responsibilities: Ensure you own or have legal permission to use all videos and text (e.g., logos, taglines) you process in the App; do not use the App to watermark content that violates third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or any applicable laws; maintain the security of your iPhone to prevent unauthorized access to the App and your content.
3. N Coins & Export Policy
Nette uses a "N Coins" system to facilitate video exports. Here’s how it works:
N Coins are a virtual in-App currency that can be obtained through in-App purchases or promotional offers (as available from time to time);
Each video export requires a specified number of N Coins, which will be deducted from your balance upon successful export;
N Coins are non-refundable, non-transferable, and have no cash value. Unused N Coins will remain in your App balance as long as you have the App installed on your device;
Exported videos retain their original quality (powered by FFmpeg) and are saved directly to your iPhone’s photo library—Nette does not store copies of exported videos.
4. App Usage Restrictions
You agree not to use the App for any of the following purposes:
Processing videos that contain illegal, harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content (including but not limited to violence, hate speech, harassment, or explicit material);
Circumventing or modifying the App’s code, features, or security measures (e.g., hacking, reverse-engineering, or creating derivative works based on the App);
Using the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of Nette or third parties (e.g., stealing the App’s design, FFmpeg integration, or watermark tools);
Sharing the App with others in a way that violates Apple’s App Store Terms of Service (e.g., distributing pirated copies of the App).
5. App Updates & Modifications
Nette may release updates to the App from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. These updates may be automatic or require your manual download (depending on your iPhone settings). We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any App feature (including N Coins, watermark tools, or export options) at any time, with or without prior notice. However, we will make reasonable efforts to inform users of significant changes through in-App notifications or updates.
6. Termination of Use
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate any terms of this Agreement (e.g., using the App illegally, infringing on intellectual property rights, or circumventing security measures). Upon termination, you must stop using the App immediately, and any unused N Coins will be forfeited. You may also terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.
7. Limitations on App Liability
Nette is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind (express or implied). We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all iPhone models or iOS versions. We are not liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: loss of videos, failed exports, or issues with watermark quality. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
